Harvesters is a group of people of maturer years who meet together once a month in the afternoon. We have a cuppa and a tasty bite and chat about things that interest us, play daft games that make us laugh and have sing-songs too.
We learn about stuff that’ll help us in our everyday life, like keeping healthy in what we eat, how to deal with the ups and downs of life, getting along with family and friends and much more.
As we’re getting older we sometimes feel a bit under the weather and we know that Jesus cares for us so we pray for each other, for healing and for anything that is bothering us or someone we care about.
A day out at a Garden Centre or some such place for lunch and a wander round is another thing we really enjoy.
So if you want chat, fun, laughter and prayer, and of course a cuppa, come along. It’s usually the last Wednesday of each month, though you can ring Christine at Harvest Centre for actual dates and the program.
